Playing Catch-up

It is almost 1:00am but I am determined to play catch-up with my blog because I will get behind and just quit writing if I get too far behind.

First of all...my car is gone. *sad face*  We couldn't take her with us, so we sold her. I really, really liked my car and I am not too thrilled about not being able to go where I want. These are photos of her last bath.

So, Jackson got a new game. I guess it is Trouble. Isn't that the game with the popper thing in the middle? Anyway, it is the kid's CARS version and he is pretty much unbeaten! I need to sneak him into some casinos in Vegas or something because he has a lucky streak a mile wide. He surely loves that game. He waits until you sit down and relax somewhere and then he pops up, carrying it, and saying "Will you play a game with me?" in the sweetest little voice. Even though you don't really want to play Round 56 of that game, you can't help but do it because he is so darn cute.  Here he is after her cornered his Grandpa:

And here they are reading a Better Homes and Gardens magazine at the car dealership. Jack liked looking at the pretty ladies, haha. Ya know, he is surely is lucky to have grandparents like Grandpa Conn and my mom in his life. Not because they buy him things but because they spend time with him and make him feel special. That is the most important thing of all.

Tonight, we went to Playtime Pizza to celebrate Jack's Pre-K graduation! (Graduation gets a whole blog post devoted to it.) Jackson had so much fun! The food is kind of gross but the games are a blast and it was so much fun to watch him playing and I think Garry had more fun than Jack did. The only part that Jack did NOT like was blacklight mini golf. It is in a series of rooms and is decorated with a bunch of grumpy looking pirates that are painted in bright blacklight paint. He absolutely FREAKED and took off running when he saw the pirates and he cried like a baby when we tried to get him to come in there! It was just too much for him so I took him off to play air hockey and we ended up playing about 20 games in a row while we waited. I also took him to play skiball in honor of my Grandmother Wanda. When she used to take us to the arcade, she would spend 50 bucks on playing skiball -- it was her favorite! Jack did awesome and he even beat me!
