Four more days till Fall! Woo!! This summer has been awful! I cannot believe that it has been so hot that even 90 degrees is a bit of a relief. I was supposed to take Hefty in to get fixed today but I woke up to find that he had eaten a whole loaf of bread in the night, so I had to reschedule, lol.
Well, it appears that I caught Jacky's tummy illness, which I am not thrilled about. I have just a general yucky feeling, am sleepy and have a little bit of vertigo. We really stayed in today because I didn't feel like getting out and about. Jack BEGGED for ice cream, so I did take him to Wendy's for a frosty. He was a little bit put out that it didn't have Wow Wows in in (M&Ms) but he liked it okay. I actually had a small frosty too. For some reason the thought of a frosty didn't make my tummy protest like the thought of actual food did. Weird. Anyhoo, we came home and went out in the backyard with the cats and he played so sweetly by himself! Too bad Pixie and Hefty had to go climbing trees for 30 minutes! Ugh -- I had to stand under the tree and pat the trunk until they came down. After that, I was feeling kinda crappy, so I made Jack come in my room and watch tv and play so that I could lay down. He was SO good and I am so proud of him for being so sweet! From about 5:30 to 8:30, he just hung out in there with me and played sweetly so that I could rest and I feel so much better this morning because of it. He is growing up so fast....but apparently is still young enough to pee on the floor just because he wants to. He peed the floor 3 times for some odd reason but he didn't like it when I made him clean it up by himself, so I am hoping he will stop doing that soon.
Oh well.. 8 days down (again) -- 179 to go (again)
1. Pixie in the tree. My Cheshire cat.
2. Jack pointing at Pixie. He thought it was funny that she was up there.
3. Jack picking Pixie up....by her fur. Oops.
4. Jack rubbing his head on Pixie's rock after watching her do it, hahaha!!
5. Little butt cheek hanging out, lol.
6. Friends again.
7. Little cutie
8. He likes it when I take pictures of his "grumpy face"
9. Sweet little dirty fingers and feet.
10. & 11. Drawing random lines in the dirt and asking me, "What's that, Mommy?" so that I make up what he is drawing
12. Napping with my phone held tightly in his grasp.
13. One hour later. That child really, really likes Mommy's phone.
