Today, my child woke up with a glint in his eye and I knew that he was back to normal! He ate and ate and got into trouble and ate and got into trouble and got into more trouble. So, one of his favorite games is jumping back and forth from the sofa to the coffee table, which is (of course) NOT ALLOWED, although I have to confess some amazement at watching him fly through the air so fearlessly. He decided to do this on our new furniture, which is not kid friendly, and after being warned repeatedly, he face planted into the coffee table and busted his nose. He came up screaming and his nose was already blue and bleeding and my first thought was "Oh no....he broke it!". Thankfully, it was just a bloody nose. No broken bones, please!!! (Photos at the bottom of the bloody nose)
My kiddo is FINALLY potty-trained! Unfortunately, he now has "potty guilt" too. "Potty Guilt" is what happens when he has an accident and it consists of him scooping poop out of his undies with his hand and putting them in the potty. EWWWWWWW!!!!!
Mom is coming tomorrow, so I am trying to clean up the house but toys keep appearing all over the place, so I give up for the night. Right now, I am looking forward to sitting in a hot bathtub for an hour with the jets on and reading my book......in 7 months when Garry comes home.
And can I just give a quick shout-out to the Otter Box? I started running my bathwater tonight and I forgot a towel. I got halfway to the dryer to grab one and I hear **SPLASH**! I R-A-N back to the bathroom and I see Jackson (fully dressed) sitting in an inch of water, playing Angry Birds under the faucet. I don't think that the sounds I made were even part of the English language...or any language. I snatched him out of that water and gave him a lecture about getting in the bathtub without Mommy there and resigned myself to having to buy a new iPhone. It still works perfectly though! And it is even a little bit cleaner, I guess. :)
Jack has Brobee-envy. Tonight, I was editing a session so that I can give it to its owner tomorrow and Jack just happened to see the one photo in the bunch where the little kid is holding a Brobee doll. He absolutely flipped his lid! He howled at the top of his lungs that this little boy had better "GIVE ME BACK MY WOEBEE!!!!! THAT'S MY WOEBEE!!!!" He even tried to knock the computer monitor off the desk, lol! Why is Yo Gabba Gabba stuff so hard to find anyway? I can't ever find any YGG toys at the store and that is one of Jack's favorites. Oh well....guess it is bedtime....at 6:03am.
