Life on the LRAFB

It is so weird living on base again! We are in TLF and we are in walking distance everything and there are always people around. It is kind of exciting and Jack is sleeping SO much better here. He is even talking in his sleep and it is SO funny. Early this morning, Garry disturbed him when he was getting dressed and Jack rolled over and smiled and giggled and said "That is so funny!" and laughed some more. It was so cute. Change is really hard for Jackson but he absolutely loves living in the "hotel-ly room". When we moved to LRAFB, we stayed in this same building for about a week and Jackson loved the little park outside that is fenced off so that only the kids at the hotel can use it. Ever since then, he has begged to go play there every time we pass by but I have to tell him that it isn't a park he can use. Well, after he got home from therapy, I opened the door that leads outside to the park and told him to go see what was out there and he just gasped for joy and ran to play, haha. It was so cute!

Today was his last day of therapy at Arkansas Children's Therapy Group and they gave him a gift, which I thought was really sweet. He is going to miss his therapists there so much, especially Ms. Quinn and Ms. Synde. Hopefully we find people who love and care about him as much in Germany as we have had here in Arkansas.

Garry had his squadron going-away party at the bowling alley on base and it was a lot of fun! Jack had some trouble bowling and threw his ball into different lanes a few times. Ooh it made him so mad!! It amazed me how far my little guy could chuck an 8 pound ball and it was more like shot-put than bowling for a while. We ended up setting him up with a ramp though and that seemed to work out a little bit better. He got a nice signed photo from his squadron and everyone made speeches.

Bless his heart, Jack was so dirty and tired when we finally settled back in the hotel room. I gave him a bath and the water was gray when I finished! Yuck!
