Today was actually a lot of fun! It was daylight saving time, so I SHOULD have gotten an extra hour of sleep. Not so. Not only did Jack not sleep for an extra hour....he actually woke up an hour earlier than he should've in the first place! Aw man! Jackson got his tv privilages taken away early in the day by hitting me. He has started getting really irritable when there is background noise while he watches tv. He is an intolerant little thing anyway but when he is watching his stories? Huh. Forget about it. He goes bananas if I watch tv, talk on the phone, try to take a bath, sing...anything that makes even the slightest bit of noise. He even gets mad when I am trying to cook. Anyway, I was talking to mom and he hit me in the back, so he got grounded from the tv. I took him to the park and he sulked and threw acorns for a few minutes because I made him wear his hoodie but then he started having fun. In one of the photos, you can see him giving me the stink-eye for taking his picture while he is trying to climb. The "teenager attitude" begins early, I guess. After a few minutes of blissful peace, I heard him scream a little piercing scream and he ran to me where I was sitting on the bench and hollered, "Oh no! It is a wizard!" Well, that definately caught my attention, so I asked, "Oh wow! What does the wizard look like?!" but he shook his head and said, "No, it is a wizard". I was kind of confused, so I asked him, "Well Jacky, what kind of wizard?" and he said, "NO, a WIzard!" like he was explaining something simple to someone who was very stupid. We went round and round like this until I realized that he meant a LIZARD! Haha!!! I asked him what the wizard..I mean LIZARD looked like and he said it was "sad and black". I asked him why it was sad and he said it was because he tried to throw rocks at it. After all of this, I was really interested in this lizard, so I walked over to the steps of the playground and Jack immediately started pointing and yelling, "The WIZARD!" and I looked closely and saw a little beetle, hahahaha! He was fascinated with it and even poked it a few times before I transplanted it onto a tree so it wouldn't get examined to death. We played a little while longer until he threw a rock at a little girl and I took him home. He screamed from the backseat and threw boogers at me because he was furious about leaving. *sigh*
When we got home, he ate everything in the house and called me a "siwwy, giwwy gumdrop", haha. What a weird little kiddo...
