Day 13

Today, I finally feel like I have a good routine going!  It is so nice when you lose that "I am not sure what to do with myself" feeling and things start going smoothly again.  Today was mostly fun again.  I didn't want Jack to have a nap because he went to bed late last night (9:00), so I woke him up at 6:40 and managed to keep him awake all day.  When he started to get a little bit mean and irritable around 2:00, I took him to the big park on base and we played and played and played!  First of all, we walked all around the Nature Trail and it was pretty warm outside, so he wanted me to carry him halfway through.  LOL!  I am sorry Jack but Mommy doesn't play that game anymore!  He got mad at me because I told him to walk, so he just lay down on the path for a few minutes.  What a funny little guy!  I did manage to get some REALLY cute Fall photos while he was laying there. :)

We kept walking and came to the part of the track where these little fruit things had fallen on the ground and dozens of butterflies were on the ground, drinking the juice of the squished ones!  It was really cool!  Jack told me he wanted to "squish the pumpkings to feed the flutterflies", so I let him go over there and squish the little fruits (the "pumpkins").  It was cute and he was really careful not to scare the "flutterflies".  We played for a little while longer but I noticed that he looked like he didn't feel really good when I was swinging him, so I took him to the commissary and gave him a "Mommy's Coke" and he perked right up after he slurped some down.  I swear, he has some weird blood sugar issues!  He insisted on getting some more strawberries so that we can make chocolate covered strawberries and we went home.

Everything was great until he made the big giant poop on the floor in his room.  EWWW!!!  Apparently, cream cheese and yogurt made him a little bit too regular and he couldn't make it to the bathroom.  He was COVERED in it, so I gave him a quick bath and started to get the carpet cleaner ready, when I noticed that he was sitting in the sink in his bathroom, playing with my phone.  He was talking to himself in the mirror, haha!  It was really cute until he decided to turn the water on himself.  UGH!  So, then I had TWO messes to clean.  Thankfully, the poop all came out of the carpet.  I wasn't sure it would at first but I kept scrubbing until it did.  Gross.

He fell asleep listening to "Fiderflies" (Fireflies by Owl City) on my iPhone.  So sweet. <3

Day 12

Today, Jack and I had so much fun....until the hiccups came.  Jackson has HATED hiccups since I was pregnant with him.  I remember feeling him hiccup and then he would just beat my insides up for a second and then he would hiccup and then beat my insides up (and he had hiccups a LOT for 3 months!).  Well, nothing has changed.  He got them when we were driving and it went a little something like this.

*HICCUP*
"No hiccup!"
*HICCUP*
"Mommy, make it STOP!"
*HICCUP*
"No, No, NOOOO!"
*HICCUP*
"NO, NO! I DON'T HICCUP!"
*HICCUP*
"ArrrraaaagggggghhhhhhhhaaaaaaHHHHH!"
*HICCUP*
"Mommy! AmbleackaMACKA VAMEAMDODIAM!!""  (This is where he descends into intelligible gibberish.
*HICCUP*
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

You get the idea.  Then "Rude Boy" by Rihanna comes on the radio and he sings along and forgets about it and quits hiccuping, lol.

We went to the park for a long time tonight and he played CARS in the dirt with another little boy and they played SO good together!  I was really pleased.  When we got home, I was gathering his towels and stuff for his bath and he was in the bathroom.  Suddenly, I hear "F**k it!" come out of the bathroom!  I though that surely I had been hearing things and I listened again, only to hear "F**K IT!" again!  I ran in there and asked Jack what he said and he repeated "F**k it, Mommy."  I asked him: "Jacky, what does that mean?" and he pointed to the FAUCET, lol!!  I almost died laughing.  I had to tell him "Noooo, baby.  That is a fAAAUUUCet!"  How funny.  I am just glad that he didn't hear the actual swear word somewhere!

Day 11! Finally!

Monday, September 20, 2010

Today, I was SOOOOO productive! First thing in the morning, I fed Jack and cleaned the house (which really wasn't messy) and then I mowed the lawn for the first time in my life!  I can't imagine doing it without a self-propelled mower but it wasn't so bad and I was really proud of myself when I was finished.  I noticed the neighbor got out there and mowed his lawn later that day because he saw how good mine looked, hehe.  After I mowed the lawn, I came in and cleaned up for a Fall Fairy photoshoot.  There were 9 (NINE) little kids under the age of 5 and it was wild but it was so much fun!  I had a really good time and Jack had the best time playing with the little boys!!  After the shoots, I fed him some lunch and we just chilled out for the rest of the day.  I made yummy potato soup for dinner and he ate 3/4 of the pot and went to bed early!  Good, good day.  :)

Day 10...Last Day of "Again'

Well, today started off REALLY irritating!  I had to go to the commissary for some groceries for the week and Jack pitched the biggest temper tantrum I have ever seen.  I was SO embarrassed that I just wanted to die.  He wanted some CARS fruit gummy things and a Mike Wazowski Pez dispenser and I told him he could only have one or the other.  So, what is a spoiled little boy to do?  How about throw the box of CARS gummies about 10 feet across the aisle and try to closed-fist punch me in the face.  Yeah, he did.  He kept up the screaming for about 4 aisles until I whaled on his little leg for a second and then he shut up.  By that time, the damage was done and I had the "Walmart child".  Gosh, it was awful.

I got home, put up the groceries and fed him and after his nap, we went back on base and got an ice cream.  After the day I had, I REALLY wanted a snowcone.  After getting messy with his Iron Man ice cream (which he seemed to like more than Spongebob), he played naked in the sprinkler for a long time.  While we were out there, I let the cats out to roam the backyard.  Well, I keep a pretty close eye on them just in case one of them decides to leave the yard.  I found Hefty and Pixie but couldn't find Junebug ANYWHERE.  I even brought a chair outside and looked over the privacy fence into all of our neighbors' yards.  Shoot, I even brought a can of cat food outside and clinked the top against the rim of it for 20 minutes while calling to her.  Just when I was rounding Jack up for a drive around the neighborhood, I happened to look on the porch and I saw her tail twitching underneath the chair where I had been sitting all that time.  Little beyotch.

All in all, I was REALLY glad when Jack was ready for bed.

Day 9...Again

(This is a late update, so it is mainly about the pics and a quick summary.)

I got out and mowed the grass early in the morning but the lawnmower died on me, so I decided to take Jack out to eat.  We went and got food from McAlisters and took it to the park on base.  Unfortunately, the soup was AWFUL!!!  SO awful!  I gave most of my sandwich to Jack after I scraped the lettuce off and he woofed it down just fine.  He threw rocks and jumped off of the big rocks at the park for a long time but it was hot, so he got bored quickly and wanted to go home.  He went to bed early and nothing really interesting happened, except watching the Bama game.  Woot!
